Join us on October 4, 2026 as we bless the animals. Bring your pets and we will pray over and bless each animal. The first Sunday in October is celebrated remembering St. Francis and his reverence for creation. He is frequently memorialized surrounded by animals. There are many stories of his loving interaction with creation. We gather at Noon on Sunday Oct. 4th. Rain or shine!
Recent months have ravaged our country with fires, floods and other acts of nature. During those events, the animals are frequently the ones to suffer the most, resulting in overburdened animal shelters. In the month of September we recognize St. Francis and the current suffering of the animals by directing our free will Mission of the Month offering to Seattle Humane Society to offset the burden.
