Epiphany!

You have heard of the 12 days of Christmas. They begin on Christmas Day and end just before another important day on the Christian calendar, Epiphany (January 6). Epiphany celebrates the fact that Jesus was revealed to the world as the Savior. The non-Jewish world is represented by the Magi who visited the child Jesus and presented gifts (three gifts are listed, so it has been assumed there were three Magi). Jesus was also shown to be the Savior at his baptism in the Jordan River and through his first miracle, turning water to wine at a wedding. These things will be remembered at our service on Sunday, January 7, and in the weeks that follow. Our services start at 10:00 am (we warm up with a few hymns starting about 10 minutes to 10:00).  Do you want to deepen your understanding and love of God? Join us, that is what we are doing too.
