If you want to learn about Christianity, our Sunday morning services include readings from the Bible and a sermon that explains or applies the readings. The Prayer Book liturgy that frames the readings and sermon is itself filled with Biblical language and references. Our hymns illustrate Christian themes. Consequently, our services immerse you in the Bible, the collection of books that God caused to be written to communicate his nature and love to us. You can learn about the rules of tennis, but you won’t really understand the game (or why people care about it) until you see it being played. You can read about Christianity, but you won’t really understand it (or why people care about it) until you see Christians worshipping their creator and rejoicing in the fact that Jesus has saved us from the penalty of our sins. We begin with hymns around 9:50 am on Sundays; our Prayer Book liturgy follows at 10:00 am.
