August to September

As we approach September, many families are making plans for school, sports, and other autumn activities. In this moment, when schedules are in flux, it is good to think about making church part of your routine. Here’s why:

God generously created the world. He created you and your family as part of that world. Why did he do this? Because he wants us all to be — not just happy — but eternally blessed with the greatest joy that can be. How can we find that joy in a world filled with sin, evil, and death? There is only one way: by knowing and loving God. Knowing and loving God transforms our life on earth and fits us for an eternity with God after we die.

Can one find the creator of the universe in Shoreline, Washington? Come and see. It’s not the church building that makes the difference, it is the God that we learn to trust and worship. Bring your questions and concerns and give God a try, with us. We meet on Sundays and sing hymns starting at about 9:45 a.m. Our liturgy begins right around 10:00 a.m. Afterwards, there is an opportunity to meet informally and ask questions. Until we meet in person, may you be richly blessed.
