If you came to St. Barnabas last Sunday, you enjoyed the following: the visit and sermon of ++Bishop Ken Myers; the visit and fellowship of our vicar general Michael Penfield+; the celebration of Pentecost and Memorial Day; joyful singing led by our Nigerian members; a lavish reception and recognition of our 50th anniversary!
Next Sunday is Trinity Sunday, celebrating the mysterious union of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Then we enter the post-Pentecost period, lasting all summer, during which we have an opportunity to deepen our faith and understanding of the Good News until the church year begins again in the fall. You are welcome to join us. Our Sunday worship begins at 9:45 with hymn singing, then the liturgy begins at 10:00.

Thank you Bob! We had a visiting Bishop, our Vicar General and many visitors. My actual participation in the liturgy was minimal, so it was a little like standing on the sidelines watching the marvelous event unfold. Praise God! Harley+
