Holy Week commemorates the most important event ever to occur on earth: Jesus, the Son of God, died to save us from the effects of sin, evil, and death, and then rose again, proving that death had no power over him. Holy Week begins (this year) on Sunday April 14, Palm Sunday. We recall Jesus’ last journey to Jerusalem. He knew he was going to be betrayed and killed, but most of his followers did not. They thought it was a triumphal parade, so they cut down palm leaves to lay in his path. In only a few days, the tone shifted from triumph to tragedy when Jesus was arrested and crucified. Join us on Sunday and get the full story of Holy Week.
