Justice Course – This Sunday Nov. 8, 2015

Adult Christian Education:

We begin a three week class on justice, exploring the virtue of justice in classical philosophy, analogous concepts in the Old and New Testament, and modern theories of justice. There will be many citations from the Bible.

The outline of the class will be as follows:

  1. Justice in classical philosophy and in the Old Testament.
  2. Justice (righteousness) in the New Testament and in the Middle Ages.
  3. Theories of justice from the 18th century to the present.

The class will be offered on November 8, 15 and 22, at 9:10 a.m., so you can attend no matter which liturgy you prefer.

We encourage your participation and questions. Don’t miss this course!
