Pancake supper 6:00pm Tuesday March 4th

Join us for our traditional Shrove Tuesday pancake supper. This was in some locales,  the last party of the Mardi Gras season which began with Epiphany (Jan. 6th) This was also a season known as “shrove tide” where the faithful would prepare for the lenten disciplines with contrition and confessions. Symbolically we empty the larders of the rich food we may avoid in the 6 weeks of Lent.

Whether you are ready for a party or want to enjoy fellowship in the community all are welcome. Enjoy a meal of pancakes, sausage, and the fellowship of St. Barnabas.

Blessing all with a Holy Lent – Fr. Harley+
