St. Barnabas begins a conference and events series by hosting Dr. Charles H. Kraft. He will be presenting decades of experience on the topics of spiritual and inner healing. In addition to Dr. Kraft, we will also host Judy Taber who has extensive experience in intercessory prayer and deep level emotional healing. She has worked with Dr. Kraft for many years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience. The conference will be held at St. Barnabas on Friday August 24th Noon to 5:00pm and Saturday August 25th 10:00am to 5:00pm. Early registration is $90.00 per person until July 31st. More about Professor Kraft:
Charles Kraft, on Fuller’s faculty since 1969, is professor emeritus of anthropology and intercultural communication in the School of Intercultural Studies. He has served as a missionary in Northern Nigeria, a professor in African languages at MichiganStateUniversity and UCLA, and part-time professor of anthropology at BiolaUniversity.
Kraft taught mostly in the spiritual dynamics concentration but also in areas such as anthropology and communication when necessary. His published books include Worldview for Christian Witness (2008), Confronting Powerless Christianity (2002), Culture, Communication and Christianity (2001), I Give You Authority (1997), Anthropology for Christian Witness (1996), Deep Wounds, Deep Healing (1994), Defeating Dark Angels (1992), Communication Theory for Christian Witness (1983, 1991), and Christianity in Culture (1979, revised edition 2005). His travels for teaching and ministry have taken him around the world. In recent years his interests and ministry have especially focused on inner healing and spiritual warfare.
