Who We are. We are a liturgical church committed to Classical Anglicanism. Our worship is from the Book of Common Prayer 2019. We trace our history from the “continuing movement” through our membership in the Convocation of the West ( https://anglicancow.org/) within the Missionary Diocese of All Saints (http://www.themdas.org/). St. Barnabas is a founding participant in the renewal of Orthodox Anglicanism through the Anglican Church of North America (A.C.N.A.) https://anglicanchurch.net/ We are “Rooted in Scripture & Steeped in Anglican Tradition“.
We are a mission and ministry church committed to participating in Kingdom work. Each month we feature a different missionary focus as well as providing ongoing support to core ministries important to our community. All are free to participate as much or as little as they are so moved or able.
What to expect when you visit. We enjoy pre-service music prior to the start of the Mass at 10:00 am. We follow an order of service from the BCP2019, here is the link: http://bcp2019.anglicanchurch.net/index.php/downloads/ We are using the liturgy from the “Anglican Standard Text” beginning on page 105. If you are unfamiliar with liturgically based worship, this experience can be intimidating. Fr. Harley is happy to meet with you before your first visit to offer some pointers and helps in navigating the service. We want your experience to be positive and afford you the opportunity to gauge your introduction on observation instead of frustration. Don’t hesitate to call (206)365-6565 with questions.
Worship service on Sunday is at 10:00am.
